COVID-19 - Help, the computer’s down and it's time for maths!

In these unsettled times, schools can be expected to deliver online learning with a moment’s notice. There are a wealth of free, online activities to support this.

In principle, all children can be accessing quality education at home. But what about homes where there isn’t any access to a computer; or you have 3 children of different ages fighting over one iPad; or your internet is down?

20 non-digital maths activities using everyday resources for learners from 4 to 11 years

The activities below encourage curiosity and learning together. They are easy to set up and don’t require many resources so are perfect when the computer unexpectedly crashes. Each activity shows the progression in skills from Nursery to Y6 to make it easier if you have children of different ages and to help parents know where to take the activity if their child is struggling or finding it too easy.
