What’s in the pack?
Every month schools will receive resources and activities to celebrate the achievements of a new Welsh mathematician. The resources can be used to involve the whole school community in a month-long celebration or as a dip-in classroom resource.
You will receive 3 packs a month, one for Progression Step 1, one for Progression Step 2 and one for Progression Step 3.
Each pack contains:
3 Llygaid Mathemateg images and questions, from the mathematician’s home town. Each image has mathematical questions and take-it-deeper activities for learners, related to the images.
2 Fact Files about the mathematician.
1 Fun Facts, 1 Real-life Application, and a range of curriculum activities, related to the mathematician and their achievements.
2 Easy Ways to access the resource*
1. Use this form to send your contact details.
2. Your school will be invoiced £120 for the year and whole-school access will be set up to access the 3 levels of questions and activities.
