Can creating digital content deepen learners’ conceptual understanding of place value?
This inquiry investigated the impact of creating stop-motion animations to demonstrate understanding of place value, on the academic outcomes for a group of learners. The aims were to deepen learners’ conceptual understanding of place value; develop learners’ digital competence; and increase engagement and enjoyment of maths.
